After we got to Newark we took a bus from the domestic terminal to the international terminal without having to go through security again. Thank goodness!!
Linda had arrived a few hours earlier at the terminal:
As usual the flight was delayed. We chatted and had a few drinks/snacks while waiting:
We get our paperwork ready for boarding:
Finally, we take off after another two hour delay (much of it on the tarmac). Apparently, the problem is that there are thunderstorms around Boston, and all U.S. flight to Europe on that evening had their flight plan to be going over Boston. The trip takes a while:
We do get there about 7PM local time. There is very long queue through customs because of our delay, but we all passed through with no problem.
We have come a ways.
Here is a reminder to the sisters that we are not in Kansas anymore:
We stop at an information desk to find out the best way to get to our apartment in downtown Dublin.
It turns out that a Taxi is the best way:
Our apartment was on the 3rd floor, but we had to stache our luggage in the office before doing anything else:
