Galway

The next objective on our trip was Galway, driving from Killarney. It was a fairly long drive, so we got off fairly early.

We see some old stone structures on the way.

We stop off for the usual excellent pub lunch.

We have the first serious rain on the trip. We take the opportunity to get some diesel. We put in about 15 litres of diesel. Our Renault for all its French idiosyncrasies is incredibly fuel efficient.

We arrive at the Harbour Hotel. The parking requires some various obtuse manoeuvres.

There are some very scenic views close to the Hotel.

We couldn't see much sightseeing because of the rain, but we still manage to find a restaurant that serves ups some delicious fare.
